Tim began his career in construction and project managment in 2014 when he established his company Tausch Technologies as a low voltage communications contractor for local ISPs. 

Prior to entering the low voltage industry, he found enjoyment working on carpentry and construction projects, which led him to enroll in a vocational program for carpentry and general building trades in 2011.

Tim then joined the team of a local construction company as a carpentry apprentice, where he continued to gain experience under the leadership of master carpenters for several years.

After working in the technology sector as a project manager and network engineer for the last several years, Tim decided to refocus on his career in general construction, aiming to specialize in interior remodeling. 

This shift led him to establish Tausch Construction as a local construction provider for northern Illinois in 2024. 

Tim is passionate about designing and crafting construction projects that bring every client's vision to life. His favorite projects include historical preservation and restoration, living space remodeling and custom woodworking.
